Tytoo Gardens Children’s Home, Haiti

Every day in Haiti is a victory of trusting the Lord. As Christians, this moment in time is an opportunity for growth and to stay at the feet of Jesus, because every single day, they know anything can happen.

NEW UPDATE! Prayer Requests:

  • The staff face all kinds of distress when needing to buy food supplies in Port au prince. Tap Taps (or local taxis) filled with food supplies are controlled by gangs that need to be paid off.

  • You never know what the next day will bring because people live in fear. It is dangerous for the people living in the west area (rumours, killing, massacres, moving).

  • Rumours are always in Arcahaie that Gangs are coming to take control of the city.

  • In Cabaret area, 2 miles from Arcahaie, people are trying to protect their city and block the road. If a guest is coming to Arcahaie, they have to know where the guest is going, the address they're going to and the phone number to call, if not, that person may be killed.

Nepal PEACE Project

The Nepal PEACE Project is a child education initiative and sponsorship program. The Be In Christ has always understood that the education of a child is an investment in both children and the local community.

The BIC recognizes that education is a passport for children to a better future. As children are educated, through the support and sponsorship of the local church, the church is investing in a better future and improving the communities that it exists to serve. The BIC church, both in Canada and the US, has a long history of educational investment in the far east region of the world. This new initiative as envisioned by the local church leadership in Nepal carries on that tradition.

BIC in Cuba

Today about to six thousand people gather across Cuba to worship in BIC churches every week. According to Cuban Brethren In Christ Church, the church’s plan is to plant urban churches in the major city of each region across the island. In these populated centers, emerging churches will have a better prospect for self-sufficiency because of higher median levels of education and income.
